Written and Directed by AL and AL To Be Rendered is a live recording of a computer's code attempting to render more information than is possible in real time. 'AL and AL investigate the existential experience of perception. In 'To Be Rendered' the artists overburden the computer with tasks until it cannot process the information in 'real-time'. They see this as the computers equivalent to the human thinking process, a delicate balancing act between crashing and processing information, an idea emerging fragmented out of the darkness to be rendered into something, not nothing.'
